What I’ve Built

I’ve spent the last six years developing a product that solves a problem most people don’t even realize they have: exposed toilet paper in beautifully designed bathrooms.

Elegwood is a patented toilet paper holder that conceals the roll inside a solid wood, furniture-style piece. It blends function, hygiene, and design in a way that elevates the entire bathroom.

I’ve created final prototypes, gone through manufacturing, and have a small batch of sellable inventory. The product is protected by U.S. and Vietnam patents.

Where Things Stand Now

I invested over $100,000 of my own savings into this project and got all the way to launch — but the factory I used cut corners and delivered lower quality than promised. Some of the units are usable, some are not. I’ve tried to recover as much as I can, but it’s not what I envisioned.

The product is not the problem. It’s strong. It works. People “get it” when they see it. The issue is I need a new, reliable production partner before I can scale.

What I’m Looking For

I currently have inventory in hand and even with limited marketing, sales and reviews are good. Since my previous factory failed to meet quality standards, I am actively sourcing a new, reliable manufacturer and welcome connections to vetted U.S. or overseas producers as part of this partnership journey.

That said, I’m not looking for a partner to solve a broken product — Elegwood works. It’s fully developed, patented, and has resonated with buyers. What I need now is a strategic marketing and distribution partner who sees the long-term opportunity in defining a new category of bathroom furnishings — and who understands that early-stage pivots like this are part of building something transformative.

I’m open to flexible partnership structures, whether that’s joint vetting of new production, licensing, or bringing on a partner to help scale through retail and hospitality channels.
